My Teaching Style
I strive to teach classes that leave participants feeling inspired, accomplished and centered. I enjoy a variety of music along with intentions to help facilitate the class experience. I focus on the micro adjustments within the cueing as a way of helping individuals shape the internal context and external poses
Experience
Yoga started for me 15 years ago when a friend opened a studio and invited me to attend. I distinctly remember that sensation of not being sure it was for me at the beginning all the way to feeling restless in shavasana. Since then, yoga developed to become a foundational component of my overall wellness. Through kids growing up, job changes, moves and multiple other life events, yoga has been a constant. I became RYT 200 certified through Breathe For Change in 2019.
Favorite Pose
Half Moon. There's something about this pose that I find a lot of beauty in how it can be nuanced each time I'm in it. (Not only in the asana but in the focus as well.)
